Things to be remember now and then (sept 2011)

Nearing the end of this amazingly awesome vacation, it is kinda weird that i am not flying back manipal anymore. This vacation is an awesome one, i enjoyed throughout, watched four movies, and going to have the fifth one this Friday. One last movie before my Phase 2 actually starts. zero book touched. Maximum time spent on the bed. and wow, i am really wasting oxygen.

We have heard a lot of stories from seniors about how phase 2 is going to be. Horrible enough. Gladly there is one senior that told me," dont trust those rumours, live out your own phase 2, things are not going to be in those exaggerated ways." I believe, no matter how it is going to be, i will have my own way to sort it out. The wise-lady once told me, this is going to be a part to train myself to be a good doctor, and hard work will definitely pay off. I like this wise-lady, it's always been nice to have talked to her.

I walked to my living hall, looking at my family portrait. i have a great father, outstanding elder brothers, a lovely mother, and a fast-learning younger brother. This family is good, there is nothing the TAYs cannot do.

There are several things i learnt in this holidays:
1) I auscultated my grandpa, and wasnt very sure what did the findings interpret. Lesson learnt, remember what you learnt. Medicine is a 24-hour-art(you might need your knowledge anytime, anywhere).

2) My dad said this to me," clear you doubts and problems as soon as possible. It gives u psychological-comfort.

3) my north india trip.... Keep yourself updated, always. Keep your faith, and there is God always, don't try to challenge this fact.

4) my deared one assured me. that i need to remember the reason why i chose medicine years back. Do not deviate from medical ethics. To treat a patient passionately, and to use my knowledge learnt beneficially.~Remember, Hippocratic Oath~Firstly, do NO harm.

5) No matter How Reality hits me, or how the outsiders judge me wrongly, do not fear! For they do not know what they are doing, and they know me too little to judge..

6) My dad treats me like an adult." come have beer and peanuts with me!" he said.

So, i told myself "earn yourself some respect to be an adult."

7) Do not procastinate

8) "Get free PTPTN loan! so, get first class honours! i know you can do it!" dad said..

It's all going to be brand new days. Phase II,I will pawn you!

Melaka, here i am!
